About Coach

I was raised by the coast, so sand and waves are my favorite things in the whole world, but right next to those is CrossFit. It's more than just physical exertion; it's a community-driven journey of growth and transformation. My fitness journey started later in life, without any notable athletic background. Yet, CrossFit taught me resilience and the power of pushing beyond limits. CrossFit to me is not only about being strong but also about longevity and aging in a way that will allow me to move and take care of myself when I am really old. The main reason older people go into assisted living is that if they fall, they can't get up on their own. I want to make sure that when I am 90 years old, I can still do a burpee every day. I am very passionate about what we put in our bodies as well, and I am always advocating for a healthy lifestyle. I am very careful with the ingredients in our food and the products we use because of side effects and cancer-causing poisons that we are exposed to all the time. Last year, when I decided to try a new sport, ""The Tactical Games,"" and learn new skills, I could see how CrossFit helped me with my new hobbies and goals. While my athletic achievements may not be marked by trophies (okay, maybe just one trophy from my last tactical event), the personal growth and transformations I've witnessed in myself and others are far more rewarding. Helping and Educating people has always been a cornerstone of who I am. Witnessing the ripple effects of getting stronger and healthier in one's life beyond the gym is incredibly fulfilling. It's this profound impact that led me to share my story and become a coach. "

Turning Point

I found CrossFit while trying to adjust to being a single mom of 4, and working full time. Not having any previous sport or workout background other than being a busy mom to 4 kids, the release of stress while attending class is what got me started and soon turned into a passion of mine. Seeing progress on your self is the best feeling you can experience, doing things that you thought you were not able to gave me a confidence in me that I never thought I had. And all of this translated to other areas of my life.

Motivation & Passion

" Through CrossFit, I've found purpose in helping others realize their potential both in and out of the gym. Helping individuals specially in the master's age range know that it is never too late to start an active lifestyle is one of the main reasons I coach CrossFit. Having started CrossFit myself after the age of 35, with no previous training or workout background, it was amazing to see what happens when you show up every day, one step at a time. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me now that I have passed the 40-year-old mark and am only getting stronger every year. It is possible, and I want to help others know they can do it too. I am currently working on becoming a firearm instructor and want to help individuals not only on their physical training but their firearm proficiency too. "
